Top 10 Ways to Talk to an Aries

1. Wear red. If you want to attract an Aries, go for the power color but be prepared to match its impact. This works well in amorous relationships but may bring too much heat in business. It all depends on your goal.

2. Sit in the passenger seat. Although the Aries likes to drive, a good co-pilot can keep the direction true. By asking questions you can help steer your Aries the right way.

3. Suggest short-cuts. Patience is not a strength of a typical Aries. If you can save steps without short-changing the prize, you will win points.

4. Wear a hat. Aries often love hats or are quick to notice those wearing them. A favorite sports team’s or band’s logo or a “hat to attract” are great ways to catch an Aries attention. Depending on where you want the conversation to go, you can even gift him/her a hat.

5. Be prepared to meet or dodge flare-ups. Aries is the first fire sign of the zodiac. An Aries ignites quickly on an idea or grevience and the faster you can run with or recover from the reaction the better.

6. Don’t take it personally. The fire burns hot but dies as soon as the Aries’ interest is redirected. If you’re the target of anger or displeasure, move the focus off you and on to a solution. If you take it personally, you will throw fuel on to the fire. By the same token, don’t get offended when the Aries is suddenly gone. Inconstancy does not necessarily mean indifference.

7. Take it outside. An Aries is movement oriented. Suggest a walk, raquet-ball or another physical activity appropriate to your relationship. Just be prepared to keep up.

8. Be direct. Don’t beat around the bush with an Aries. By the time you say what you mean or your subtle suggestions gain clarity, s/he’ll be on to a more obvious solution.

9. Hold up a mirror. An Aries often shoots out ideas and opinions without a full awareness of their impact. If you can parrot back what you hear without judgment, you allow the Aries an ability to reflect and communicate more effectively.

10. Get cracking. Aries are do-ers. They hate to wait. If there’s something they want done they’ll move to do it, even if they don’t know how. Jump in and make sure the right resources are contacted to put the job in motion or roll up your sleeves and help your Aries do it. And remember to take the previous tips in account when you’re running after his/her lead.
